Level 2 - PSYCHOLOGY OF IDENTITY AND BEHAVIOUR

BWRT® Training Course Details

BWRT® Level 2 Advanced Practitioner Course

Seeing great results with Level 1 and want more? Level 1 is powerful and can achieve great results, but sometimes we need something more profound. When the Core Identity is involved we need to enable the client to find and embrace a new Identity. Level 2 of BrainWorking Recursive Therapy allows you to make deep and lasting change in the psyche with unprecedented speed, using techniques that have been developed directly from the work of Level 1.

Overview

The Level 2 course is available as an intensive 2-day study course, or as 8 x 2-hour weekly workshops. The course material and overall teaching time is exactly the same for both.

This course provides thorough training in BWRT® Level 2 which covers the Psychology of Identity and Behaviour – working with the core identity aspects of self-identification and associated behaviour.

Completing the Level 2 training equips you to work with some of the more ‘stubborn’ conditions which can often confound other therapies, such as gambling, dependencies, addictions, obsessions and eating disorders. In fact, anything where the symptoms are linked to the client’s own sense of identity.

The therapy itself is initially conducted in four parts which include an incisive questionnaire, an Unlock routine, a Reboot routine which embodies a nested ‘Trigger Guard’ to guard against recidivism, and finally a maintenance program if needed.

You will receive an attendance certificate after the final lesson and your full Level 2 certification will be issued following successful completion of a case study following the training.

What does the course cover?

Whether studying the 2-day intense course , or the weekly course spread across 8 weeks, you will learn:

  • How to discover and work with the core identity to create lasting change.
  • How to use BWRT® level 2 to work with complex issues in as few as 4 sessions.
  • How to discover how the client truly sees themselves, their self-identity.
  • How to help the client find a greater readiness to accept and believe that change is possible.
  • How to reduce resistance.
  • How to keep the client focussed between sessions.

You will have the benefit of working hands on in the classroom (2-day course only) or online with an experienced tutor who is an advanced accredited practitioner and supervisor.

You will also receive a detailed manual, new protocols and worksheets.

How the course is structured

There is a mix of theory and practical work, with live demonstrations of the protocols. We use a projector screen for in person attendees, and Zoom screen share for online attendees, showing our slides with visuals to highlight the main points of theory. The practical sessions are conducted in small breakout groups with the main tutor and classroom assistants supervising.
